Clites “Uncle Clite” Gray,
It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved Uncle Clite on June 5, 2026, due to natural causes.
For many of you, he wasn’t simply Clites Gray. He was Uncle Clite. He was CatBone. He was family.
Whether you grew up with him in Polk County, North Carolina, knew him from Yonkers, New York, shared stories with him, laughed with him, or simply crossed paths with him throughout his life, chances are he left a lasting impression on your heart.
The loss of Uncle Clite has left a tremendous void in our family. He was our patriarch, our storyteller, our protector, our friend, and a source of love and laughter for generations of family and friends.
As we prepare to honor his life, we want to make sure everyone who knew and loved him has access to the funeral information and any important updates regarding his homegoing service.
We know there are countless people whose lives he touched that we may not be able to reach personally. It is our hope that this website serves as a place where family, friends, and loved ones can stay informed, share memories, receive updates, and celebrate a life that will never be forgotten.
